The team of pastoral counsellors in the Gesprächsinsel are
- bound to confidentiality
- do not pass on any information outside the centre
- do not keep any records of your visit
Our conversations are conducted principally as person-centred counselling. This means that

- Everybody carries the solution to their problem within themselves (C. Rogers)
In the course of the conversation it is our aim (by active listening) to help the person to look at the reality of their life and to accept it as it is so that new solutions to their problem can arise.
